Ghanaians to monitor results on phones

As part of moves to make this year’s elections transparent, the Electoral Commission (EC) has indicated it will be publishing scanned results from all twenty nine thousand (29,000) polling stations in real time on its website and other electronic platforms.

The Commission indicates it will be deploying projectors, scanners and other calculating devises in all its polling and collation centers across the country to authenticate the results that will be churned out from the elections.

Announcing this at the launch of the Ashanti Regional Election Early warning Response group, the Regional Director of the Commission, Sirebuor Quaicoo stated that this should form part of the commission’s agenda to demystify the elections and to gain the buy in of all stakeholders.
