Ghanaians Students Languishing in British Cells

About four Ghanaian students have been arrested in Hull on suspicion that they are illegal immigrants contrary to their visa status who allows them to study in the country. Others have also been brought from other locations across the country and deposited in a police cell in Leeds awaiting the next available flight.

The most pathetic thing about this is one of them who is a PhD student has just a couple of days to defend his dissertation towards the award of his PhD and he is in cells as of now awaiting to be thrown out of the country for working more than twenty hours a week.

Will the authorities verify why theses guys are still holed up?
