Bishop Dr Samuel Sagoe-Nkansah, a National Executive member of the Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies International (AEGA), has called on Ghanaians to have compassion for one another.
“If we want the nation and ministry to grow then we should have kindness for one another without that we cannot exist,” he said.
Bishop Sagoe-Nkansah made the call at the AEGA 2015 conference at Sakumono in the Greater Accra Region on the theme: “Leadership, Ministry and the Love of God.”
Speaking on the topic: “Addicted to the Ministry,” he said the lack of concern for one another is making people to backslide in the God’s ministry, and asked Christians to restore the attitude of sympathy.
Bishop Dr Albert A. Saah, Senior Territorial Bishop of the Association who spoke on: “The Constraining Love,” asked Christians to allow the love of the Most High God to constrain them from doing evil and be committed to Him.
“If you are going to benefit from the addiction to God then we should live by faith but not by sight (Romans 5:5) and be ambassadors of the gospel,” he said.
He said the love of God restrains, organises and reorganises us to walk in the spirit and Ghanaians, particularly Christians should adhered to Luke 10:27 and to pray aloud in intensity to stand firm in the Christ’s indelible blood.
“There is indelible mark that Jesus has made in our lives and He is calling us into leadership and ministry and we should let the love of Christ overwhelm us as we live day by day,” he said.
The Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies is a worldwide Christian body that was chartered in 1976.
It has membership in more than 60 countries with the objective of planting, developing Bible schools, feeding the poor, sponsoring needy children, providing an annual Christmas box delivery and a dynamic medical mission and outreach.
