Ghanaians should have regular medical check-ups

Dr Prince Kudolo, Chief Executive Officer of Lord ‘J’ Medical Centre in Accra, has called on Ghanaians to cultivate the habit of having frequent and regular medical check-ups.

He said diseases which were detected early enough would cost less to treat than those diagnosed later.

Dr Kudolo made the call when the Centre organized a free medical screening in Accra on Saturday as part of activities marking the 10th anniversary of the Centre. He said the Centre, established in 2003, has so far offered treatment to more than 30,000 patients.

About 2,000 people were screened for malaria, typhoid, ear, eye and nose.
