Ghanaians should exercise patience with Tsatsu – Kojogah Adawudu

Lawyer Victor Kojogah Adawudu, a member of the legal team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the on-going Supreme Court petition, has called on Ghanaians to exercise patience with the Tsatsu Tsikata lead team, because, they have no option than examine the witness on every pink sheet they find questionable.

“The way things are going, we would have to go into all the pink sheets we find questionable because these are the evidence the petitioners have presented and are praying the court annul them. They started with 4709. It later moved it to 11916 and now to 11138….this figure seems to have been arrived at due to duplication of pink sheets and in other instances quadrupled.

“With different exhibit numbers on all these sheets … for some of these reasons we would have to deal with the pink sheets one after the other because it is our aim to protect every single vote. We want to protect the vote of every single voter because we suspect there is an attempt to mislead everyone. It is for this reason, [that] I plead with Ghanaians to be patient with us in this regard because we have no option now,” he explained.

He was of the view that, pains has to be taken to interrogate every issue with respect to the case in order to ensure that all parties accept the verdict when passed and further ensure the security of the Nation.

Lawyer Victor Kojogah Adawudu made the call on Asempa FM after Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata, had cross examined Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the second petitioner for the fourth consecutive sitting day.

His plea comes after both parties have agreed to expedite action for a speedy trial in order for the nation to be unified so as to forge ahead for a common course.
