Ghanaians should continue to pray for national peace

Kumasi, Jan. 1, GNA – Reverend John Amoah, Senior Pastor of the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, has exhorted Ghanaians not to relent in their prayers for continued peace and stability in the country. He said this was important because the evil forces seeking an opportunity to create confusion in the country had not given up.

Preaching at a special Service in Kumasi to usher in the New Year, the Senior Pastor said there was the need for Ghanaians to thank God for the peace they are enjoying.

He said the citizenry should be appreciative to God for the peace and stability in the country adding that the phenomenon was an indication that Jesus Christ is the prince of peace.

Rev. Amoah said: “The future lies in the hands of God and he knows what is good for his people.”

He observed that politicians and other leaders in the country should remember that they are responsible to God and the people and are accountable to whatever they do.
