Ghanaians in the USA are highly disappointed in the NDC – A Rejoinder

The attention of the secretary of NDC USA has been drawn to the publication on Ghana web of July, 2nd 2013 which sought to create the impression that Ghanaians in the USA are disappointed in the NDC. A careful read of the article indicates however that the title of the article is a mismatch with its contents. Additionally there is no branch in the NDC USA known as NDC Virginia –Maryland branch. For more information on current NDC USA branches please go to _www.ndcusacongress2013.com_ (http://www.ndcusacongress2013.com/) .

The NDC USA does not support the recent utterances of Mr. Atubiga neither is he a spokesperson of the organization. Mr. Atubiga was a member of NDC Virginia branch which is headquartered in the Alexandria area. Mr. Atubiga was supported by members of his branch and by the NDC USA in general during his effort to become a parliamentary candidate of NDC during the recent general elections in Ghana. It is however ridiculous to make the claim that as a result of this support which was afforded to all members of the Chapter, who run as parliamentary candidates, the NDC USA is responsible for statements made by Mr. Atubiga.

It is also significant to note that the author of the article Mr. Amponsah Stonash, is not a member of the NDC New York branch, his writing indicates he is a member of the NPP New York/NPP USA.

In addition to the above stated the NDC USA regards the article as published as garbage, the handiwork of an individual who obviously needs guidance in how to best use his time and talents towards a positive effort which will bring some good to society as a whole.
