Ghanaians in Minnesota lose a prominent member

The death is reported of Opanyin Amo Adjei Barfour, a prominent member of the Ghanaian community, and a member of the Ghanaian Association of Minnesota- GhanAM. Opanyin Barfour died on December 6 2006.

According to program released by a family spokesman, Nana Isaac Kweson, there will be visitation on Friday January 26 at the Estes funeral home in Minneapolis. This will be followed by a burial service on Saturday January 27 at the Brooklyn United Methodist church, in Brooklyn Center at 9:30 AM. Burial follows immediately at the Lakewood cemetery.

Final funeral rites will be held on the same Saturday at 5:00 PM at the John Murzyn Hall Columbia Heights. All are invited.
