Ghanaians cautioned on secret recordings

Ghanaian leaders have been urged to seek security advice from the Ghana Police Service on how to avoid secret tape recordings and other security matters during or after duty.

According to Mr. Michael Osekere, Ministers and private individuals should be watchful when their vehicles are sent to washing bays because some of the car washers can be hired to place gadgets into their vehicles as a plot.

Speaking to The New Crusading GUIDE in an interview, Mr. Osekere stressed that Ghanaians should also be security curious when at home.

He said at times people are seen leaving car keys on tables in living rooms, inappropriate designs of burglar proofs and carelessly leaving gates and doors of houses unlocked.

He pointed out that people should ensure that all windows and entry points were properly secured before leaving their houses or retiring to bed.

“It is very sad to note that very often than not, we hear from the mass media of allegations of some police personnel involved in criminal activities like extortion of money from drivers and armed robbery,”

Mr. Osekere called on Ghanaians to seize fire on Victoria Hammer’s tape saga because it could be done to anybody.
