Ghanaians caution against agro-chemical food

Koforidua, Aug.28, GNA – An International Non-Governmental Organisation on health, Health and Morale International, has cautioned Ghanaians against the consumption of food crops produced with the use of agro-chemical to enable them to live longer.

The Research Officer of the organization, Mr Yaw Sarpong, said this at the 38th anniversary rally of the West Volta Prebytery Christian Youth Builders of the Evangelical Prebyterian Church, Ghana, at Koforidua on Sunday.

Mr Sarpong said research conducted by the organisation has revealed that the consumption of food crops which had been sprayed with agro-chemical affects the human health and could lead to deaths. He asked the people to consume more garlic to enhance good health, reduce hypertension rate and streamline the menstrual cycle of women. Mr Sarpong asked pregnant women to consume enough shallots to enhance easy delivery during child birth.

He also asked mobile phone users to desist from using it at the time they are recharging the battery to avoid electrocution.
