Ghanaians asked to vote Nana Akufo-Addo into power

Ghanaians have been asked to vote into power Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flag bearer for election 2012, to rescue them from hardship.

The NPP parliamentary aspirant for Effutu Constituency, Mr. Alex Afenyo-Markin, who made the call, said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has failed the people and should not be maintained in power.

Mr. Afenyo-Markin, a legal practitioner and businessman, based in Winneba, was addressing NPP supporters at separate rallies at Effutu Ansaful, Veterinary and Ateitu,

He gave the assurance that the NPP if voted into power in December would fufil its manifesto pledges, improve the livelihood of the citizenry, fairly distribute the national cake to Ghanaians, and help the youth to acquire vocational skills and establish their own businesses.

Mr. Afenyo-Markin appealed to the people to ensure free, fair and violent-free polls, and said “election is not war.”
