Ghanaians asked to reconcile with those who offends them

Pastor Dr Winfred Baah of the Radiant Light Gospel Mission, on Sunday called on Christians to reconcile with those who have offended them because one of the lessons of Easter is forgiveness.

Dr Baah, who is also a medical doctor at the Kidney Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, said since Jesus placed the welfare of mankind above his personal gains to ensure peace and harmony between God and man, all must let tolerance prevail in the society.

“Make peace with those who hate you or disagree with you,” he stressed.

Making the call in a sermon in Accra, Dr Baah said “If you do not forgive others, your sins will not be forgiven.”

He said Jesus showed the way through forgiveness and all must emulate his example.

Dr Baah said, Ghanaians must show love towards their neighbours and co-exist as one people.

Dr Baah also urged Ghanaians to let peace prevail during the current biometric registration exercise as well as the forth coming general election to ensure peace and stability.

Reverend Solomon A. Kotei, General Overseer of the Mission said, what Ghanaians should remember, is the ultimate price Jesus paid for everyone, which many are finding it difficult to acknowledge.

He said the sacrifice of Christ for the sins of mankind calls for rededication to the service of God.

Rev Kotei, asked Ghanaians to put Ghana first during the biometric registration exercise and the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, so that peace would prevail.**
