Ghanaians asked to pressurise government to deliver

Tema, Dec. 13, GNA – The Most Reverend Dr. Robert Aboagye-Mensah, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana, has called on the electorate to exert pressure on politicians to honour the promises they made to them during Election 2004.

He expressed the need for Ghanaians to monitor the policies of the re-elected New Patriotic Party to ensure good governance.

Most Rev. Aboagye-Mensah was preaching during a church service in Tema to induct the Right Reverend Maclean Agyiri Kumi into office as the first Resident Minister of the Tema Joint Church.

Speaking during an interview with journalists, later, he lauded Ghanaians for voting on issues and not on ethnic and parochial considerations during the December 7 General Election.
