Ghanaians asked to expose enemies of the country

Winneba, Jan. 18, GNA – The Acting Winneba Municipal Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police Samuel A. Okanta, has appealed to Ghanaians to be bold and report to the security agencies people who want to disturb the peace.

Mr Okanta, who is also the Officer Commanding the Central Region Police Training School in Winneba, said this at a get-together organized by the Effutu Traditional Council for heads of decentralized departments, institutions, corporations and some personalities for their contribution towards the development of the Effutu Municipality. The programme was also used to seek ideas for development and preservation of peace and tranquillity in the area.

Mr Okanta said for the Police Service to achieve maximum success in its work, the public have a role to play by informing about persons whose behaviour could endanger the socio-economic development of the country. 18 Jan 09
