Ghanaians asked to be truthful in their dealings

Tema, March 25, GNA- The Parish Priest of Christ the King Anglican Church at Sakumono near Tema, the Reverend John Antonio Nelson has urged Ghanaians irrespective of their political affiliations to be truthful and work together to ensure the speedy development in the country. “As Ghanaians whether in Government or not, we should see ourselves as one and with a good heart be positive in our dealings and do things constructively and not destructively to help move the nation forward,” he said during a sermon on Good Friday.

Rev. Nelson expressed the hope that Christians would not view the Easter period only as a time for merry making but also a time to ask God for forgiveness and allow the Holy Spirit to permeate their lives. He reminded Christians to see the cross of Christ as a symbol for salvation because it was through it that they were liberated. The Parish Priest asked Christians to rededicate themselves to righteousness and set good examples in society to win more souls for Christ.
