Ghanaians are evil thinkers – Ken Agyapong

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has described Ghanaians as greedy people who are more concerned about their personal welfare than the progress of the State.

“Ghanaians, any position that you hold; what comes to mind first is how to make money, enrich ourselves and take care of our families without thinking of the country,” the maverick politician told Citi FM’s Richard Dela Sky in an interview.

He continued: “If not, we (Ghanaians) have equal brains and probably better than them (the West), but because we think evil of everything around us, we are not able to use the talent that God has given to us to develop our country”.

He advised politicians in the country to begin to accept criticisms from opposing sides in good faith in order to collectively develop the country.

In his view, Ghana will develop if the citizenry shirk the over-politicisation of important national issues.
