Ghanaians advised to exercise regularly

Koforidua, Jan 25, GNA – The New Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, Nana Kwesi Adjei Boateng, has stressed the need for people to exercise regularly in order to keep healthy.

He said the health status of people had a significant bearing on the socio-economic development of every given society. Nana Adjei Boateng said this when he presented 100 bags of cement to the Koforidua Tennis club as the assembly’s support for the enhancement of sports in the municipality at a ceremony in Koforidua on Friday.

He said the issue of exercising the body could not be separated from sporting activities therefore the need to support other disciplines in sports.

The Acting Chairman of the club, Mr Frank Sefah who received the donation, thanked the MCE for the donation. He gave the assurance that the cement would be used to expand facilities at the club to help accommodate many people who wished to join it.
