Henry County police are asking the public’s help in locating a Ghana native missing from her McDonough home since March 6.

Lt. Jason Bolton said Matilda Laryea, 20, left her home to attend an adult education class in Marietta. She never got there, he said. Laryea has been in the United States only a month and speaks little English, he said.

Laryea is a black female, 5 feet 1 inch tall, 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information should call Detective Wayne Bender at 770-288-8253 or after hours at 770-957-9121.
