BAMANG, near the famouse K! ente weaving town of Bonwire in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and the birth place of Ghanaian born Intentional Politician, “Osagyefo” Kwame Appiah Boateng, popularly known by Ghanaians around the World as “Kwame Mayor”, is bracing for tourism and possible future pilgrimage, like its historical “Twin Village” of Amaape.

The politician who claims to be the “real intellectual re-incarnation of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah” — who was the 2004 CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nhyiaeso Constituency in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, has predicted that his Home Town of Bamang, where his ancestors from the Adonteng Puduo Royal family who occupied the Kumasi or Otumfuo’s Adontenghene Chieftaincy or Stool for years and led Ashanti wars against Colonialism and Imperialism — would soon become a famouse tourist attraction and in the future, would attract pi! lgrims from around the World, when he is finally called by God Almighty to the welcome hands of Heaven. Meanwhile, the Home Town of the first Ghanaian born to [symbolically] run for Mayor of Los Angeles, USA and perhaps, the first indigenous African to run for a higher public office in the history of America, has already attracted the interest of tourists from around the World, especially, American Tourists who have read about him on the popular GhanaWeb.Com.

The “Rebel with a Cause”, who insits that some of his ideas have tantalized Ghana and have already become Monumental in Ghana, said reports reaching him indicate that some people have been driving all the way to his Home Town of Bamang, which like Bonwire, is also a Kente weaving center, just to catch a glimpse at the place “Kwame Mayor” was born and the Mausoleum of his Adonteng Puduo ancestors who were War-Generals in Asante and led Ashanti w! ars against Colonialism and Imperialism and fiercely resisted the White Man’s rule.

The CPP Marverick who claims to have a similar “Muhammed Ali’s Lousville – Lip”; Muhammed Ali’s look – alike ” Pretty Face” and whose Political Punches are known to “sting like a bunch of bees”, developed a Campaign Literature in 1996/1997, [first] calling for the “importation” of South Africa’s style of Truth and Reconciliation Co! mmission to Ghana and also, calling for voting rights on behalf of Ghanaians living abroad; [first] called for the erection of Statutes for the Martyred Judges; [first] called for a “SHADOW GOVERNMENT” for a future Continental African Union Government which Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah proposed; [first] called for Parliamentary seat for Ghanaians Abroad, [first] called for renaming the Castle, the “Black House” and also, the develoment of the Castle to – (attract tourism like the White House), to mention but a few.

The Pro-Democracy and Human Rights activist recently, publicly urged “Super Powers” to dismantle their nuclear weapons else he would put pressure on African Leaders to also develop nuclear weapons for (peace purpose) and make Africa a ‘Super Power” to atta! in “Racial Balance of World Power – ” in order to co-exist peacefully with our white and Asian brothers and sisters and brothers and sisters of other races”.

The CPP activist, a great admirer of America’s former Presidents, John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton, who also, has great respect for former President Ronald Reagan for his committment to Freedom and Philosophy of “Peace through Strength”, says he is the new “Black Moses” who has been ordained to fill the “Big Shoes” of such legends as Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Marcus Garvey, Nelson Mandela, Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Steve Biko.
