A Ghanaian TikToker, Hayford Boateng, popularly known as GH Kobby, is in the grips of the Police for allegedly shooting his girlfriend, Philipa Yaa Baby to death.
The unfortunate incident at Seker, a suburb of Yeji in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
Hayford is said to have accidentally shot his girlfriend in the left arm after he retrieved a gun from his car to fire warning shots in the air.
Philipa was rushed to the St. Mathia Hospital in Yeji but she passed on shortly upon arrival.
Two friends of Hayford; Kojo Emmanuel and Michael Kabutey who were reportedly present when the incident occurred have also been arrested to assist with investigations.
