Arms dealer Charles Kofi Wayo has said President John Mahama is the “perfect” person to be President of Ghana.
The former flagbearer-aspirant and founder of the United Renaissance Party (URP) told Bola Ray on Starr Drive Thursday February 19, 2015 that apart from President Mahama, all other politicians in the country are “criminals.”
“The nicest person who should be President is President John Mahama. I’ve known him for years. He’s the only one when you talk to him about poor people, he’ll listen,” he said. According to Mr Wayo, unlike President John Mahama, the flagbearer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo is insensitive to the plight of the poor.
Mr Wayo believes President Mahama stands tall “morally and ethically” among all other politicians who are trying to lead the country.
He also said first Lady Lordina Mahama is also a compassionate woman who does a lot of good things for the poor in society.
