Ghanaian law firm shortlisted in British Legal Awards

Accra, Oct. 19, GNA – The judges of the British Legal Awards have shortlisted a Ghanaian law firm as a finalist in this year’s awards, a statement from the organisers has said.

Oxford and Beaumont Solicitors, which has offices in London, has been shortlisted as one of the four African law firms in the 2010 British Legal Awards in the category, 93Middle East and African law firm of the year”.

The other firms listed are the Kenyan law firm Anjarwalla and Khanna and South African law firms- Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs and Webber Wentzel.

The African firms are vying alongside three other firms from the Middle East and the final decision will be made next year by a judging panel chaired by Bill Knight who is the Chairman of UK’s Financial Reporting Review Panel.
