Ghanaian held In Pakistan For Drugs

ISLAMABAD, May 25 (Online): Law Enforcement Agencies and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) during their separate operation against drug smugglers and anti-state elements during the fortnight have arrested 24 persons including 9 foreigners from different cities and recovered huge quantity of drugs and illegal weapons from their possession.

According to handout issued by Ministry of Interior on Tuesday, the quantity of drugs recovered from drug traffickers is 196.400 kg opium, 126.040 kg heroin and 3465 kg Charas.

Nine foreigners, four from South Africa, one from Guinea, one from Kenya, one from Ghana and two from Nigeria, were held during the operation 7.750 kg heroin recovered from their possession.
