Ghanaian Defender Terry Yegbe Joins FC Metz On Four-Year Deal

French Ligue 1 side FC Metz have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe on a four-year contract from Swedish club IF Elfsborg.

The 22-year-old, who impressed during his time in the Allsvenskan, is seen as a strong addition to Metz’s defensive setup as they look to strengthen for the new season.

Speaking after the move was confirmed, Yegbe expressed his delight at the opportunity. “I’m very happy to be here. I can’t wait to play and meet the whole team. I would like to thank my agents, all the people who support me and, of course, FC Metz for their trust,” he said.

The transfer marks a significant step forward in the career of the young Ghanaian, who has been tipped as one of the promising defenders to watch in Europe.
