Ghanaian Community in Columbus honors its pledge

On behalf of the Ghanaian Community in Columbus, Yaw Obeng presented our donation of $3000.00 to the Stadium Disaster Fund at the Ghana Embassy in Washington D.C. This was during the Q&A at President Kufour’s citizens meeting held last week, Wednesday,June 27. Hon. J.H. Mensah received the Official Check and will deliver it appropriately per our cover letter to Hon. Jake Obetsebey Lamptey.

Many of you have expressed a desire for a return soccer match and I wish to propose a tentative date, labor Day Weekend in September: Saturday,9/1 or Sunday,9/2(notice Monday,9/3 is a holiday). By that time we would’ve a follow-up list to adopt a project in Ghana. Knowing that our contributions can make a positive difference is self rewarding.

Thanks, Boamah.
GROO Coordinator.
PS: Pls.join me in thanking Yaw Obeng for an exceptional effort.
