Ghanaian children in Toronto with their parents at Raptors 905 game in Mississuage

The youth wing of the Ghanaian Canadian Association of Ontario (GCAO) led by the dynamic Gabriel Odartei and Vivian Ofori organized a group of Ghanaian children living in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to attend a Raptors 905 basketball game on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Mississauga.

The children and their parents as well as some GCAO executives who were at the game enjoyed a ‘heroic’ welcome as a sign to honour Ghana on her 59th birthday! The honour forms part of a week-long activities planned by the GCAO to mark the 59th Independence Anniversary of our motherland Ghana in Toronto-Canada.

Such a privilege rarely comes the way of Ghanaian children living in Canada.
