Ghanaian caught with forged documents in India

Kolkata, Nov 26 : A national of Ghana was arrested at Netaji Subhas Bose Airport today for forging documents related to his Indian Visa.

Owusu Ansa Osei (40) was trying to go to Kuala Lampur from here, when immigration authorities noticed some discrepencies in his travel documents.

The arrival stamp of the Mumbai Immigration Authorities was found to have been forged.

His original passport having expired, he had asked for a Nigerian passport from one of his relative at home. The immigration stamp of Mumbai Airport and the Indian visa were forged on this passport.

He also made a trip to Nepal using this passport and also obtained a Chinese visa.
