Chicago, July 21 2008: The Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago, GNC, has informed Ghana Home Page, Ghanaweb, that the most stupendous African cultural festival in the Diaspora, Chicago’s Ghanafest, is slated on July 26 2008 at the historic Washington Park from 11 A.M to 10 P.M. This year’s festival has been shifted a little South of Washington Park, to 5600 South Russell, near the swimming pool, close to Dr. Martin Luther. King Dr. The original Ghanafest, Chicago, is upon us once again and many other years before,the organizers have lined up the program with eye pleasing, entertaining, exciting and fabulous cultural shows better seen than described.
