Ghana will triumph in 2016 polls – Irbard

Peace ambassador for the 2016 election and Security Analyst, Irbard Ibrahim, says the November elections will represent a test of character for the two major parties the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said while President Mahama will want a second term to complete the eight years, Nana Akufo Addo will also want to taste the Presidential seat before retiring which has raised the stakes so high.

Speaking at the Fourth Ghana National Union of Polytechnics Students lecture in Accra, Mr Ibrahim said a successful outcome of the election will totally consolidate Ghana’s democracy.
