Ghana Water Company restores water supply to Kumasi Metropolis

The Ghana Water Company has restored normal water supply to the Kumasi Metropolis.

This follows the successful repair of the transformer that supplies power to the water treatment plant at Barekese.

The Regional Management of Ghana Water Company Limited made this known in a statement copied to OTECNEWS in Kumasi.

OTECNEWS’ investigations in the Metropolis revealed that some parts of the city are without water.

But the release said Customers around low-pressure zone areas like Sokoban, Daban, Kentinkrono Buokrom, etc who haven’t experienced any flow through their taps yet should exercise patience since pressures are still building up in the system.

The Management of Ghana water company limited Ashanti Region wishes to inform the general public that, water supply has been restored to most parts of the Metropolis following the successful replacement of the transformer by ECG engineers last night
