Ghana to collaborate with Thailand – Kufuor

Accra, June 27, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor on Monday pledged the commitment of Ghana and Thailand to cooperate for development in the road and housing sectors. He said discussions between Government officials of both countries began during the Afro-Asian meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, this year.

Welcoming a Thai delegation at the Castle, Osu, President Kufuor said: “I hope the deliberations to be undertaken will go a long way for a win-win situation to both Ghana and Thailand.”

Ms Ratanaporn Dammakosol, Ghana’s Honorary Consul in Thailand, who led the delegation, said Thailand was determined to support Ghana in the housing and road sectors, especially with portions of the Accra-Kumasi Trunk road.
