Ghana Taekwondo Federation to organize training course for referees

Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF) will organize a refresher course for referees, fixed for Monday, 21 March to Friday,25 March 2016 in Accra.

Taekwondo in Ghana is gradually gaining prominence among youth who are interested in making a name for themselves in the sports.

This growth has prompted the GTF to organize the a coaching course for local trainers who are holding a Black Belts.

The General Secretary of the GTF, Mr. Charles Amofa told sportscrusader.com about the intentions of the federation with regards to the upcoming training program.

He said, “this upcoming course will enhance the knowledge of referees in order to promote the sport in Ghana”.

Mr.Amofa also added the significance of the training programs to promote fairness in the officiating of bouts in the sport.
