Ghana Review to the rescue

Accra, Feb 11 GNA – Ghana Review International has sent a cheque for 1.5 million cedis to the Ghana News Agency for onward transmission to Ms Afia Agyeiwaa of Fetentaa, near Berekum to settle her hospital bills to enable her to leave the premises of the Berekum Holy Family Hospital in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Ms Agyeiwaa was rushed to the hospital from her hometown Fetentaa, near Berekum, after she collapsed and was diagnosed to be diabetic and hospitalised for 17 days.

Ms Agyeiwaa was discharged on January 31 2004 but she could not settle her total bill of 1,117,400.00 cedis and appealed for assistance through the GNA.

Commenting on the donation, Nana Appau-Duah, Supervising Chief Editor of GNA, thanked Ghana Review for its prompt response.
