Ghana requires a revolutionary leader – Methodist Bishop

The Methodist Bishop of the Kumasi Diocese, Rev. Prof. Safo Katanka is pushing for a charismatic leader who will spearhead a revolution in the handling of issues of the environment.

“I wish we have someone who will lead a movement to fight against these things.”

Prof. Katanka made this argument on Si Me So on Kasapa 102.3 FM Monday.

He said the bane of our problems is attitudinal, hence the need to re-orient the mentality of Ghanaians towards the environment.

“We should make serious reflections and assess each other’s attitude to the environment.”

Almost 200 lives were lost last week in torrential rains and a filling station inferno.
