Ghana pledges support to Uganda to host CHOGM

Accra, Nov.10, GNA- Ghana on Monday pledged her support to Uganda in her bid to host the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2005.

President John Agyekum Kufuor, made the pledge when he received a special message from Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and delivered by Professor Apolo Nsibambi, Prime Minister of Uganda at the Castle, Osu. He said ” Ghana will support Uganda in her bid to host the meeting “. Professor Nsibambi said ” I send congratulatory message from Your friend President Museveni and a special message requesting for Ghana’s support in Uganda’s bid to host CHOGM in 2005″.
