Ghana Pentecostal Church Chairman returns home

Accra, Aug. 10, GNA – Apostle Michael Ntumi, Chairman of the Ghana Pentecostal Church, arrived in Accra on Tuesday evening after attending the Europe and Middle East conference of the Pentecostal Church in London, UK.

In an interview with journalists on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, Apostle Ntumi said he urged the Ghanaian youth in UK not to loose contact with their roots and to remit their relatives at home.

He said apart from improving the finances of relatives, such remittances could help improve the economy.

Apostle Ntumi said he also strengthen the leadership of the Church in Europe and the Middle East and briefed members on the up-coming Ghana’s Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

Apostle Ntumi said he preached the gospel, advised Ghanaians in UK to assist in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and counselled them on the need to rededicate their lives to God.

Concerning the recent controversy within the Pentecostal Churches in Ghana, Apostle Ntumi urged the public not to rush into judgement whenever there is conflict.

He said much as the Church seek to attain holiness, conflicts are bound to occur and urged the leadership of the Church to endeavour to solve such problems.

Apostel Ntumi also visited Germany, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Austria and France.
