Ghana Offers Benin Indelible Ink

Ghana has donated 20,000 bottles of indelible ink to Benin to be used in next month’s presidential election.

Mizuho Yokoi, in charge of the UN Development Programme in Accra, Ghana, Friday handed to Charles Djrekpo, chairman of the autonomous National Election Commission of Benin (CENA), the ink for the 4 March election on behalf of Ghana, the Benin News Agency (ABP) reported.

The donation is a contribution of the Ghanaian National Election Commission to the election, ABP added.

Some 17 candidates are running in the presidential election, including the incumbent president Mathieu Kerekou.
