‘Ghana needs wise, intelligent leaders’

The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Right Reverend Professor Emmanuel Martey says Ghana requires “intelligent” leaders to fix the problems confronting the country.

According to him, until knowledgeable leaders are put in leadership, the country will continue to struggle.

Speaking to members of the Presby church in Kumasi in the Ashanti region, Sunday, the clergyman said, “The biblical cliché that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord is true, we need wisdom to rule this country.”

“Where are the intelligent people? I ask, right now we require intelligent leaders to fix Ghana. I ask again, where are the intelligent people but we must also see how one can easily become an agent of evil forces that militate against us as a people, and as nation,” Professor Martey stated
