Ghana Muslim Mission celebrates 50th Anniversary

Accra, Dec. 5, GNA – Ghana Muslim Mission, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is celebrating 50 years this year. The celebration, which is under the theme “Ghana Muslim Mission at 50-Prospects and challenges” begins on December 8 and ends on December 30.

Outlining the programmes of activities for the celebration in Accra on Wednesday, Dr (Mrs) Rabiatu Amma-konney, a Senior Member of the Mission, said the programme would begin with a seminar on the theme: “Child Training – A fundamental and integrated Approach”.

She said there would be a radio quiz “Kaaka Akweo” on December 15, on Obonu FM, to be followed by a football match between Ghana Muslim Mission Youth and Zaytuna F/C on December 16. There will be another radio discussions on Uniiq FM, as well as other stations on December 18 and 19.

Other activities include discussions on Metro TV in Ga and English on December 21, she said adding that the activities would be rounded off with the Mission’s Annual Conference from December 27 to 30. 05 Dec. 07
