Ghana Meteorological Agency issues weather warning

Accra, June 15, GNA – The Ghana Meteorological Agency, on Monday cautioned the public that a moderate to severe rainstorm observed over Togo and moving steadily westward was expected to give rise to squally rain in the country.

This is expected to occur in Bawku/Yendi/Tema and surrounding areas between 2130 and 2230UTC and Bolgatanga/ Tamale/Koforidua/Accra and surrounding areas between 2200 and 2330UTC.

Pina /Buipe/ Kumasi/ Cape Coast and surrounding areas are also likely to experience the stormy rain between 0230 and 0330UTC and Wa/Damongo/Bole/ Sunyani/Takoradi and surrounding areas between 0400 and 0530UTC.
