Ghana Manganese Company hospital receives equipment

Tarkwa (W/R) Dec. 14, GNA – Mr. Ad Bus and Mr. Nico Maas, both Dutch nationals, presented hospital equipment to the Ghana Manganese Company (GMC) Hospital, at Nsuta-Wassa in the Western Region. The equipment worth 200,000 Ghana Cedis included 28 hospital beds, 14 chairs and 12 wheel chairs. Mr. Joseph Agyei Mensah, the Administrator of the hospital, said Mrs Susanne Vries, wife of Deputy Managing Director of GMC, played a significant role in securing the equipment from Holland. Dr. Godfred Kobla Scali Agodzo, resident Medical Officer in charge of the hospital, thanked the donors for the gesture and promised that the equipment would be used for the benefit of patients. He appealed to individuals and organisations to assist the hospital to enable it to provide the people with better health care.
