Ghana is better than Cote d’Ivoire – Sam George

A Presidential Staffer, Sam George is asking Ghanaians to compare Ghana to the European Union and the United Kingdom and not any African Country.

Sam George says those comparing Ghana to neighbouring Cote d’Ivoire must stop because “Ghana is better than Cote d’Ivoire by far”.

Sam George was reacting to assertions by some panelists on Atinka FM that Cote d’Ivoire is getting better than Ghana in terms of development, particularly the energy sector, as well as its entire economy.

He told the host, Kwame Adinkrah, that engineers from the Ghana Highway Authority “go to Cote d’Ivoire to construct their roads and inspect their roads for them”.

“Let’s compare ourselves to the EU and UK and not Cote d’Ivoire because Cote d’Ivoire is not better than Ghana,” he added.
