Ghana hosts International Youth Fellowship

Accra, July 20, GNA – Ghana for the third time, is hosting the week-long world camp of International Youth Fellowship (IYF) in Accra from July 18-25.

The camp under theme: “Inspiring the Youth for a Change Tomorrow”, is to host the youth from various cultural backgrounds and countries to engage in numerous activities to share in other cultures.

Participants from 14 countries have already arrived for the camp which is expected to be attended by 1,200 youths.

Mr. Ato Edwin, Deputy General Secretary of IYF Ghana, briefing the media in Accra on Tuesday, said the camp would create various opportunities for the youth who basically lacked guidance and focus.

He said the camp would provide opportunities for the youth to take up different roles in their various countries, and broaden their horizon on various opportunities available to them.

Mr. Edwin called on all stakeholders and youth groups in the country to take advantage of the camp to register and contribute their efforts towards the country’s development.
