Ghana National Gas Company Limited (Ghana Gas) will use the 2026 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) to present natural gas as a driver of industrial development and economic transformation.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, is leading a high-level Ghana Gas delegation at the event, which is being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from November 2–5, 2026.
ADIPEC 2026 is taking place under the theme, “Performance Under Pressure: Energy Systems in a New Era”. The conference brings together energy industry leaders, policymakers, investors, specialists and technology innovators to examine the changing demands facing the global energy sector.
Discussions at the event are focused on energy security, resilient infrastructure, strategic investment, technological progress and sustainable industrial growth.
Those priorities closely reflect Ghana Gas’ operational responsibilities and longer-term strategy. The company is seeking to strengthen gas infrastructure, improve efficiency, maintain the reliability of Ghana’s national gas network and maximise the contribution of the country’s natural gas resources to industrialisation.
Ms. Blay’s key engagement at the conference will centre on the topic, “From Gas Resources to Industrial Growth: Ghana’s Infrastructure Priorities.”
The discussion is expected to give Ghana Gas an opportunity to outline the country’s natural gas potential, identify essential infrastructure needs and examine investment prospects. It will also focus on strategic partnerships that could help unlock further value from Ghana’s gas resources.
Ghana Gas said the engagement would place its infrastructure priorities within the wider regional and international energy debate. Countries are increasingly seeking energy supplies that are reliable, affordable and sustainable as they pursue industrial expansion and stronger economic competitiveness.
The company’s participation also reflects its stated intention to deepen international partnerships, identify viable investment opportunities and adopt technological innovation to improve operational performance.
ADIPEC provides Ghana Gas with an international platform to advance those objectives while highlighting the role it believes gas infrastructure can play in the country’s development. Its presence at the conference underlines the company’s ambition to contribute to Ghana’s energy security, industrial progress and broader economic transformation.
