Comment to: Ghana Embassy in Copenhagen needs a face-lift
This is nothing compared to what has been happening at the embassy for decades.
I received a call from the British Consulate that l had been “arrested” at Dover (Bristish port) whilst l sat in my room in Norway. I had sent my passport for renewal(extension) and had waited for it in 2 months after l was informed it had been sent to me. Apparently the honourable Osei had used my passport to pick up someone from Ghana and that so called person was trying to enter the UK. I was informed that l was banned from entering the UK for the next 5 years etc. Had to use a whole year with documentations to clear my name.
My girlfriend was also travelling to Ghana for 6 months, applied and paid for multiple visa and was given a single entry and was asked to collect the multiple one in Accra. That took her 3 months to get, a fine and other related costs.
Someone should overhaul the whole Ghana embassy in Denmark. And l cant understand how in 2010 they still insist we should put monies in envelopes. Someone tell me why. Even in agyakrom, they have stopped that decades ago.
