A large iron ore deposits have been found in the Shai region in eastern Ghana close to the border with Togo.
A group of engineers from the Ghana based mining Group, Inland Ghana Mines Ltd are reported to have made the discovery.
When contacted by reporters, the Group’s sources confirmed that their engineers were at the location.
