Ghana Cocoa Coffee Sheanut Farmers Association mourn President Mills

Ghana Cocoa Coffee Sheanut Farmers Association have expressed shock at the sudden death of President Atta-Mills.

Alhaji Alhassan Bukari, National Chief Farmer, made this known in a statement issued to Ghana News Agency on Wednesday.

He said the few times the Association met with the late President was always fruitful and memorable.

“We recall the few times that the Association needed to meet with the Late President at short notice and he was always there to meet us as farmers”, he said.

“We appreciate all the things he did for farmers especially the increment in the producers prices and regular supply of inputs to the industry”, he stressed.

He expressed the Association’s condolences to his wife, immediate family and the nation saying “we pray that the late President will be very peaceful in the bosom of God Almighty”.**
