Ghana at 58 Independence Anniversary Celebrations Ball in Hampshire

Ghana Diaspora Voice (GDV) under the auspices of Ghana High Commission – UK and in collaboration with Association of Ghanaians in Hampshire (AGIH) on Sunday 29th of March, 2015, held the second Hampshire- Ghana 58th Independence Anniversary Celebration Ball in Southampton.
The event, which was held at the Hilton’s Hotel, Southampton brought together a cross section of the business community and friends of Ghana and was support by various Ghanaian Diaspora Organisations across Britain
The event was attended by His Excellency, Mr Victor Emmanuel Smith, the Ghana High Commissioner, The Mayor of Southampton and other strategic guests.

The Guest Speaker, Mr Marricke Gane (International Development Expert) highlighted on the fact that Ghana need to embrace and to leverage Technology to advance its development agenda.

In his Key note Address, His Excellency the High Commissioner called on all Ghanaians present to appreciate the efforts of Government about developments and changes that are ongoing in the country.

The Mayor proposed the toast for Ghana’s prosperity
