Ghana Armed Forces announces new promotions

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) have promoted three Commandants.

A statement signed by Colonel Mbawaine Atintande, Director of Public Relations of GAF said, Air Commander Issifu Sakibu Kadiri, Commandant of Ghana Armed Forces Staff College, has been promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshal whilst Commodore E. A. Bonsu, Commandant of Military Academy and Training Schools now holds the rank of Rear Admiral.

Brigadier General O. B. Akwa, Commandant of the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Centre has been promoted to the rank of Major General.

The statement said the promotions took effect from June
