Ghana and Burkina Faso to develop resources jointly – Kufuor

Accra, Aug. 26, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor on Thursday said Ghana and Burkina Faso were committed to enhance the exploitation of their natural resources for development.

He said; “we are both committed to enhance exploitation of the natural resources at our disposal for development”.

President Kufuor made the pledge when he received the Letters of Credence of Mr Sini Pierre Sanou, Ambassador of Burkina Faso in Ghana at the Castle, Osu.

He said people of both countries shared common attributes in economy, ethnicity and cultures; therefore, the two Governments would work assiduously to promote their sovereignty within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
